New Hope Academy officially opened its doors in January 2021, with the heartfelt mission of ensuring that every learner—regardless of their individual challenges—can learn and succeed at their own pace through a differentiated version of the CAPS curriculum. Since its founding, the school has placed learners with learning differences at the centre of its approach. This includes children facing a range of conditions such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, behavioural challenges, and developmental delays.
Recognising that “every child is different and should be taught according to their needs”, the school has adopted a truly individualized, learner-centered approach, incorporating a multidisciplinary team that delivers personalized education and therapy. Setting itself apart, New Hope Academy emphasizes small class sizes, with a firm policy of no more than 10 learners per class—ensuring each student receives dedicated attention and support tailored to their learning profile.
